Book readers will be pleased to know that Amazon has updated their Kindle for Android app and it comes with some things that make it a recommended upgrade.
This version, Kindle for Android 3.4, is smaller and more functional than its previous incarnation. Whereas the previous version of the Kindle app was around 10MB, version 3.4 whittles it down to around 8MB instead. This version also comes with “real page numbers,” a change that allows Kindle users to track their progress using page numbers that match the physical book. This feature is available for “thousands of titles from the Kindle store,” according to the update notes.
Whether you have a rooted Kindle Fire or a different Android tablet, this version of the Kindle software is certainly one that you should consider upgrading to.
