If Amazon were ever to have a brick-and-mortar store, what do you think would the company be selling, aside from Kindles? A recent report tells us that we may know the answer to that question soon enough.
According to Michael Kozlowski of Good E-Reader, Amazon sources are saying that a retail store is in development in Seattle for the e-retailer. This is to gauge the profitability of having physical Amazon stores. Sources told Good E-Reader that Amazon may be making a botique-type store, lining the shelves with high margin and high-end items. This will reportedly include the Kindle line of products, as well as accessories for the various Kindle models.
Of course, we’ll know more when Amazon publishes a statement acknowledging these sources as true or not. In the meantime, the only place you’ll be getting Billy Ray Cyrus’ future memoirs will be through Amazon.com.
